Coronavirus Impacts Fans

Below you will find COVID-19 procedures for Parkersburg South High School that will be followed during sporting events at Erickson All-Sports Facility or Parkersburg South Rod Oldham Athletic Center. Masks are required while entering, walking through, and exiting the stadium or gymnasium. Although, while being seated in designated areas, masks may be removed. Leaving and re-entering facilities are prohibited during contests. Jennifer Null, the athletic director at Parkersburg South stated that she appreciates your cooperation while keeping all student athletes safe and healthy!

Erickson All-Sport Facility

(Football, Boys/Girls Soccer, Track)

Gates: Visiting team/fans will enter in the Main Gate #1 Home team/fans will enter in Middle Gate #2 Band/Band Parents will enter in End Gate #3

Seating: Bleachers have been marked throughout the stadium to allow for social distancing. Hashmarks have been placed on bleachers in groups of four for spectators to sit with their families.

Restroom Facilities: Visiting team/fans will utilize restroom facilities on the Visitors side. Home team/fans will utilize restroom facilities on the Home side.

Concession Stand: During varsity football games, home and visitor concession stands will be open along with a variety of other food vendors. Boys/Girls soccer and track will not be utilizing the home/visitor concession stands but will have tables set up with pre-packaged food and drinks available for sale.

Rod Oldham Athletic Center (Located at Parkersburg South High School)

(Boys/Girls Basketball, Volleyball, Wrestling)

Gates/Parking: - Visiting team/fans will enter through our “Parkersburg South Athletics” doors, located at the front of the school. - Home team/fans will enter in door number 51 through the back door, located behind the school. **Handicap parking is available in the front parking lot and may be used for home and visiting teams**

Restroom Facilities: Restroom facilities are available in the main lobby for home and visiting spectators. Student athletes will utilize restroom facilities in their respective locker room. Concession Stand: Concession stand tables will be available, in the open area outside of the lobby, which include pre-packaged food and drinks available for sale.
